Once again lots of similarities but also many differences. Food is a very regional experience in many parts of the United States. From the TexMex of the southwestern states to the seafood of the North East and every thing else in between the United States has a wide and varied cuisine that it can really call its own.

Australia has I believe more Asian influence in their food. Although most of the US would have a Chinese restaurant somewhere I imgagine that few of the medium sized cities would have Thai and Vietnamese restaurants as they do in Australia.

Melbourne Australia has a large Greek population and this also influences the European tastes that melburnians enjoy.
